On the afternoon of May 18, Li Shijun, Party Secretary and President of China Haisum, led a delegation to visit China Tobacco Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (China Tobacco Machinery). Yao Zongdong, Party Group Secretary, Chairman and General Manager of China Tobacco Machinery, warmly welcomed the delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on intelligent manufacturing, sci-tech innovation and R&D, and business cooperation, exchanging views on advancing equipment technology upgrades and digital transformation in the tobacco industry.

Li Shijun stated that China Haisum sets a high premium on its cooperation with China Tobacco Machinery. Harnessing its technological strengths in process integration, intelligent manufacturing, and tobacco engineering design, China Haisum will focus on customer needs and industry challenges to accelerate product implementation and value creation. He expressed hope that the two sides would establish a long-term collaborative mechanism, facilitate efficient alignment between demands and platforms, promote technical consensus through academic exchanges, and ensure the implementation of outcomes through strengthened cooperation mechanisms.

Yao Zongdong welcomed the visit by China Haisum. He noted that the two companies share a common vision in propelling the tobacco machinery sector toward higher-end, smarter, greener, and more flexible development. As China enters a critical stage of planning and implementing the "15th Five-Year Plan", the timing is ideal for deeper cooperation between the two sides. He expressed hope that both would fully leverage their respective strengths in equipment integration, process design, and engineering services to create synergies and yield win-win outcomes.
