On June 3, China Haisum and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of Xuhui District co-hosted a special training program themed "Bolstering Directors' and Executives' Performance and Strengthening Risk Management" to deepen the understanding of the newly revised Corporate Law, elevate the efficacy of corporate governance, sharpen the capabilities of directors and senior executives in performing their duties, and further strengthen corporate risk prevention and control. The training brought together more than 50 participants, including relevant officials from Xuhui SASAC, full-time external directors and chief auditors of district-level state-owned enterprises, as well as representatives from China Haisum, including leaders, employee directors, subsidiary directors, board secretaries, and personnel responsible for board affairs.

The training invited professional lecturers specializing in financial auditing, risk management, and compliance to deliver two keynote sessions: Directors' Duties and Risk Prevention under the New <Corporate Law> and Corporate Governance and Penetrating Risk Management in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.

Drawing on recent high-profile cases, the lecturers dissected the prevailing dynamics of capital markets and the regulatory framework governing state-owned assets. They provided guidance on improving corporate governance structures, standardizing directors' performance of duties, and optimizing internal control systems, offering a systematic analysis of key focal points in corporate governance and penetrating risk management in the age of AI.

The training program not only improved the participants' capabilities in fulfilling their duties and managing risks, but also established a platform for regular communication between the two sides. Going forward, the two will engage in mutual learning in areas such as improving governance systems and strengthening risk management and control. They will work to deepen and broaden their cooperation and to drive sustained and healthy corporate development through high-quality governance.
