On June 26, the "Seminar on Carbon Management and Low-Carbon Development in the Paper Industry", hosted by the Green and Low-Carbon Professional Committee of the China Technical Association of Paper Industry and undertaken by China Haisum, was successfully held at China Haisum's Cclaw Workshop.

In his opening remarks, Cao Chunyu, Chairman of the China Technical Association of Paper Industry, emphasized that under the national "dual-carbon" strategy, green and low-carbon transformation has become a "must-answer question" for the paper industry. He called on industry stakeholders to build consensus, strengthen collaboration, and accelerate the development of carbon management systems and technological innovation.

Liu Wei, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of China Haisum, noted that the Company has consistently pursued its "dual drive of digitalization and intelligence". China Haisum will continue deepening collaboration with partners across the paper industry, leveraging engineering as the foundation, technology as the driver, and intelligence as the instrument to fuel the industry's green and low-carbon transformation.

[Exploring the Frontier: Keynote Reports Decoding Low-Carbon Pathways of the Industry]

Six keynote reports were delivered at the seminar, covering policy trends, technological breakthroughs, and industrial practices from multiple perspectives.

The Institute of Resources and Environment of the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology provided a systematic overview of strategic directions and implementation pathways for green and low-carbon transformation in the paper industry; China Haisum's Brand and Marketing Center introduced the Company's industry empowerment solutions driven by the dual engines of "dual carbon + digital intelligence"; the China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute shared its latest achievements in the research and development of key energy-saving and carbon-reducing technologies; China Haisum's Dual Carbon Innovation Center presented integrated green and low-carbon solutions tailored for the pulp and paper industry; Nanjing Forestry University introduced a new perspective of transforming "carbon burden into carbon assets"; and China Haisum's Intelligent Manufacturing Division unveiled the Haisum Qlion AI agent solution.

[Exchanging Ideas: Exploring the Low-Carbon Future of the Industry]

At the seminar, China Haisum's Dual Carbon Innovation Center released the Green and Low-Carbon Professional Committee's key priorities for the second half of 2026. During the exchange session, representatives from such enterprises as Shandong Sun Paper, Yueyang Forest & Paper, Asia Pulp & Paper, Asia Symbol, and Valmet, together with guests from provincial paper industry associations and research institutions, engaged in in-depth discussions on practical challenges in carbon management and the application of low-carbon technologies.

During the event, participants also visited China Haisum's Brand Exhibition Hall and Cclaw Workshop. The appointment ceremony for newly added deputy directors of the Green and Low-Carbon Professional Committee was held concurrently.
